Our camping progression

It all started in a tent

From there it was many years before we retired and started camping again.
This time there were no more tents, air matresses or sleeping bags.
Now it was trailers with houselike features like central air and heat, inside bathroom and running water.
How things have changed. Now home is where we park it.

Our first trailer was a 2006 Jayco 165 Travel Trailer

After three months we decided to full time and that meant a larger trailer. We thought we had found the perfect trailer for us. That trailer was a 2007 Keystone Outback 28 KRS Travel Trailer. It had more room, a short queen bed, a small couch and a toy room to use as an office. It was massive compared to our Jayco. We thought this would be our last trailer because it was all the weight that our F150 would haul.

After over three years in the Outback we are now in a Montana 5th wheel. We had replaced our F150 truck with a
F250 diesel truck so that we could go looking for a 5th wheel. We found our current rig in Clifton Park, NY in
September of 2009. The rig is 36' long with three slides, a large TV, a desk for our computer, a full queen sized bed,
a large shower and storage space. We now have a table and chairs instead of a dinette, two swivel rockers,
a full sized couch, a dresser, a full width closet, washer/dryer connections and too many other items to list.
